Malmo Second Seminary

The Second Storyline Discovery Methodology Seminar took place in Malmö and Lund from 24 to 28 February 2026, bringing together project partners, workshop facilitators, and youth participants from Serbia, Slovenia, and Sweden. The seminar was organized by Teater Theatron and focused on sharing experiences, strengthening cooperation, and preparing the next phase of the project.

The programme began at Bastionen in Malmö with an overview of the project’s progress and a discussion about the first workshops held in each country. Partners shared their experiences of working with young people from different social and cultural backgrounds and reflected on what worked well and what can be improved in the future. The seminar created a space for both planning and creative exchange and inspiration.

The seminar also included a joint workshop in Malmö, where partners and young participants worked together in the same space. This gave facilitators the opportunity to exchange methods directly in practice and learn from one another. One of the highlights was the active role of Theatron’s youth participants, who were encouraged to lead one of the workshop sessions themselves. This experience helped them gain confidence and showed how young people can grow from participants into future facilitators.

In addition to the workshops, the seminar focused on planning the next steps of the project. Partners worked together on the future workshop curriculum, discussed how to reach more young participants, and prepared for the many upcoming project activities, including international festivals and future meetings.

The seminar in Malmö took the Storyline Discovery method another step closer to our goal. By combining creativity, collaboration, and intercultural exchange, the project continues to create upskilling opportunities for young people to share their stories, build confidence, and express themselves through theatre.
